DON’T BOOK A CAR HERE!!
I’ve paid (and lost) € 593 for a rental car on Tenerife. Due to fog on Eindhoven Airport (NL) my flight was canceled. I called the rental compagny (Goldcar) that I would arrive the next morning. They told me that the contract that I had with Doyouspain doesn’t allow any changes and that they consider my canceled flight as a ‘no show’. Arriving at the airport on Tenerife I was told that my reservation was gone……as was € 593. With a lot of trouble and extremely long waiting I reached the Doyouspain office by phone. To make a long story short: after 4,5 weeks of calling and sending emails I got a message from Doyouspain (if they reply at all it’s after weeks) that they could do nothing to return my money due to the lousy contract they have with Goldcar and I guess, with other rental compagnies. So I lost € 593 to Doyouspain. Even without cancelation of a flight but when your flight is delayed by some hours you’re f*cked if you where as stupid as I was to book a car on Doyouspain.com: JUST DON’T
