The rental office Surprice car rental they are working with is not trustworthy.
Upon arrival the rental office had directly claimed that our VISA cards were numberless and therefore we had to pay an additional full coverage insurance of 600 EUR to pick up the car. As we denied they left us in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night with our 7 years old daughter.
Numberless VISA cards are issued by all big bank today and are a payment standard. They use this excuse to threaten the customers to contract an additional insurance which is way more expensive than the car rental.
When we claimed this situation to holidaycars.com they haven't taken over their responsibility, we received no excuse, no solution and no reimbursement of the advanced payment for the reservation (over 120 EUR).
This is unacceptable.
